My name is Finn and I'm a digital artist currently in university pursuing a BA Visual Arts degree in Puerto Rico.My main specialty is fantasy character art being familiar with IPs such as Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Pathfinder, Final Fantasy, and more.My goal is to become a full time character illustrator specializing in the fantasy genre! I am happy to work with creating character splash art or key art for entertainment media! I enjoy evoking the sense of magic and fantastical moments in my artwork to reflect the fantasy genre I love and enjoy. All artwork I make is 100% proudly human-made. Generative AI has no place within my creative process, I stand against its use in all forms, not just image generation.I am mainly self taught with some art classes throughout my K-12 school years, along with having taken private lessons with fellow artist Abril de Lucia. Currently, I am in university for art taking dedicated classes and gaining experience through related means.Interested in getting a commission? Get in touch!

Refund Policy

Note: Refunds are minus any processing feesNo refunds for completed piecesOnce a piece is completed and fully approved it is no longer eligible for a refund. There can be no more revisions after the final check is done, the artwork is approved, and the piece is delivered. If a revision is required when I send the piece for the final check, let me know and I will fix the mistake! (Extra revision charge will apply if you have used up all three included revisions or the revision is extensive)Partial refund depending on amount of work doneFor example, if during the sketch phase you are unsatisfied with the concept after revisions, a partial refund of 50% of the quoted price may be rendered. More work done means a smaller percentage which is calculated by how much work has been done (40% during Base Color, 20% during Shading). However, the artwork is not allowed to be used in regards to having another artist or AI program "finish" it. Clients that get refunded three times in this manner are blacklisted from future commissions.Full refund only issued if I, the artist, cannot start or complete the commission through no fault of the client or if there are severe violations of the ToS prior to commission start. NO ARTWORK FILES ARE DELIVEREDOnly in specific circumstances at my discretion. Full refunds in this rare instance would include processing fees.Do not commission me and ask for a full refund mid or post-commission due to "sudden expenses." You will only be issued a partial refund depending on the amount of work completed. Completed and delivered pieces are non-refundable as stated above.I expect open and honest communication so I can render the best service to my clients, and this includes being honest if I accidentally left out a detail. Please let me know and I will happily fix it! Revisions are most doable during the sketch and base color phases. I cannot read your mind so please be clear in your references and do not worry if I message you to clarify a detail. I am simply doing my job to ensure that I understood your reference(s) correctly.

Preferred contact for commissions is directly on VGen through submitting a commission request form for your project. However, I am willing to respond to any questions prior to sending a request form. This can be done via Email or DMs on my social media accounts.I am currently a full time university student and commissions are my sole source of income. Please bear this in mind when you initiate communications.

FAQ

Q: What is the best way to contact you for a commission?
A: While the best way for me to conduct commissions is through VGen, I do accept DMs or Emails for questions and inquiries. Once we are set, you may submit a formal request on VGen.
-Q: Why do you recommend VGen? Can you use PayPal Invoice/Ko-Fi/Other Payment Methods?
A: My primary commission platform is VGen as it comes with built-in accountability and safety features that protect both you, the client, and myself, the artist. VGen encourages accountability through withholding funds until a project is complete, enforcing deadlines, and handling disputes. ToS enforcement is possible to ensure that clients get their commissions and for artists to be treated fairly.
They also have tools to organize services, requests, reference information, and communications. Both artists and clients can receive reviews on the VGen to encourage best behavior on both sides.Due to VGen’s policies, artists are prohibited from taking payments off-platform which could result in a suspension or ban. As a result, I cannot send invoices or use other methods like Ko-Fi, standalone PayPal, Venmo, nor CashApp. Such requests will be automatically declined. If you do not have a VGen account and do not wish to create one, you may still submit a request as a Guest on VGen and we can communicate via email.-Q: Why is your ToS so lengthy?
A: My ToS is highly detailed and specific as it serves to protect not only me, but also you the client. Having these terms helps maintain transparency as it clearly defines how I conduct my business.
All potential clients are encouraged to ask any questions to clear any confusion before commissioning or sending payment.-Q: What is Glaze? What does it do to the JPEG version?
A: Glaze is a software developed by the University of Chicago to help protect artwork from being stolen by AI. How it works is that it applies a just barely visible filter on top that tricks the AI into thinking that the image is something else entirely.
I do this as I strongly believe in protecting my artwork from thieves and scammers. This is why I include a watermarked/glazed copy so that you can share/post on social media with peace of mind as its a deterrent against art and character thieves.-Q: Why would you decline a commission?
A: My reasons include but are not limited to...
- Hate group iconography/association
- NSFW/Kink/Fetish requests
- Drugs/Illicit Substances
- Client is a minor
- Slots being filled
- Etc.
-Q: Why does your complexity fee vary?
A: My complexity fee is determined on unique factors that I gather as I go over a client’s commission request. Factors may include things such as patterns, armor, outfits, character species, type of pose, etc. The complexity fee is calculated and added to what will become the final price quote. Note that the complexity fee is made to cover the extra time that it takes to draw, gather necessary additional references, and communicate. This also includes if there is a lack of character reference images.
-Q: Do you do commercial work?
A: In this moment I am not prepared for commercial work. However, I may participate in collaborations or zine projects that I apply to directly.
